Hey guys, quick question. I have been a long time vMix user. Love the program. I never have any problems. BUT, the only issue I have been having is with the Chroma Key. I use the software for weather and on the key there is always a slight pixelation around the person on the screen. I posted once on here a couple months ago with no real replay. Is there any possible adjustment or setting that can correct that? Its not horrible but it is quite noticeable.

Usually the pixelation is caused by improper lighting and shadow areas on the Green Screen. Pixelation is also caused by the subject being too close to the backdrop. This YouTube video may help explain. I've started the video playback at 05:50 into the video

I can only assume you have already 'played' with the "Colour Key" settings (cog wheel/Colour Key) and set the "AntiAliasing" to Medium or High. It will soften your talent somewhat, but those are the only "Settings" within vMix to soften the edges of your key. Following good "Green Screen" practices as George suggests and using higher end cameras will also help to give a good clean key.

Hi Icestream... I do have anti alasing check marked on. How do I adjust it? That actually I think is my problem I just need the eged softened. The light is good and its not a shadow issue. It is just the edges. I just don't see a setting other than on or off for the anti alasing.

You are probably best to play with all the settings in that window to figure out how it all works, it's not exactly straight forward...
However, I do find that the 'Auto Chroma Key' button usually works pretty good on it's own without having to adjust any of the settings (you may want to push 'Reset' first to clear any adjustments you've already tried).
The "AntiAliasing" option only has three settings: Low, Medium and High, but there should be a noticeable difference each from the other, 'High' being the softest.

Ice, Thanks again for the info the only thing I can't figure out is where are the anti-alasing settings. I only see a check mark for on or off. I dont see a high or medium setting. Could you or someone else tell me where that is.

What Edition of vMix are you using?

In vMix 16 it's right next to the "Anti Aliasing" check box:
