I am not a customer, yet, but this program seems to check many boxes I am looking for, and some that I didn't even know I would need. I am curious about the call feature, can you use and control chroma key to create a uniform background shared with all callers?

technically yes it can work if all callers use a green backdrop.

However you will get very poor results because chroma keying is complex to manage (unless your callers are pro and well equipped) and most importantly vMixCall being a low res long GOP 4:2:0 H.264 feed it cannot work as well as when using a good 4:2:2 (or above) uncompressed signal as a source.
