I have a question. I am using the chroma key feature for weather. However there is some pixilation always around the person on the chroma key. Its not super noticeable but it is noticeable. I have it set using auto chroma key and I have played with the filter setting some and evening the gain on the actual capture device. How can I get a smoother chroma key? Anyone have any advice or what setting could I be missing. I know even on some essentially free products the chroma key looks better. I love vmix and have been using it for awhile. This is my first real issue I am having.

Can you create a snapshot using the camera icon in vMix of the key and post it so I can take a look?

A couple thoughts (might not be related to this issue, but take with a grain of salt)

A down light or back light will help separate your subject from the background. Try to space the subject 4-5' away from the green screen. Good even lighting on the screen too is a must.

I noticed some pixelization in more than the chroma key in you photo. What resolution is vmIx set for? Camera resolution? Graphics resolution? The higher the better, if your PC & GPU can support it.

The video artifacts could be camera resolution rather than chroma key.
