first time i worked with the Instant Replay and I am confused ( workflow ) /missing a few understandings


When i have an event I can use the mouse on the event in /out to change the the timeposition which is not so easy to tweak an event especially after a few hrs into the production but it at least does tweaks the event time itself
For using the mouse wheel to move position i have to focus the mouse one the replay input ( or preview when there) but this does NOT adjust the in/out points , is this by design one has to in fact create a new event with specifying in and out when fine tuning said event?
The IR window especially unpinned doesn't seem to respond to mouse fine tuning hovering on the preview window off said window , seems to defy the purpose of having the IR controlled on second window/ second operator, sure i am just missing something.

Anyone care to clarify the general process of finetuning events for replay , is this then the same workflow when one uses a jog/shuttle to change positions ?

Shortcuts it is then (did find them between posts)

would have been nice to be able to use the mouse wheel while in the IR controller

I assume that a jogwheel controller will allow that being in front of a second monitor displaying the IR controller per simulating the shortcuts
