Hi

I'm not a expert. But at the ibc.org seems this topic is a big theme.

Can you explain a workflow including vmix?

Thank you.

Best regards
Patrick

Yes, IP is big news at IBC and in particular the new NDI open standard developed by NewTek.

What this means is using standard Gigabit Ethernet (but not wireless) you can send and receive
multiple full HD video and audio feeds at low latency across the network between compatible devices.

This opens up a lot of interesting scenarios:

1. One computer running vMix can receive multiple cameras from any other PC on the gigabit network with a compatible capture card. (AJA, Matrox and Deltacast at launch)
2. vMix can send a high quality feed to any other computer on the network, including to other systems running vMix.
3. vMix can send and receive feeds from any other software supporting the standard including CasparCG.

Once the SDK is available we will be adding support as soon as possible!
