Depends on what your ip-camera can output. I just have successfully tested an ip-cam that outputs a h264-encoded rtsp-stream, but i don't know if it also works with mjpeg-streams.

vMix will work with some IP cameras that support the following:

Protocol: RTSP
Video: H264
Audio: AAC

There will be support for more IP cameras added in the next release, however the above requirements will remain.

Martin

I am using a TP-Link SC3230 IP camera - unsuccessfully so far trying to connect within vMix. Can you please let em know if it is compatible, if so, what is the correct rtsp or whatever address?

We want sound and video from an IP camera within vMix - do you have any models you have tested with success you could recommend?

Thank you. Awesome software.
