Hi friends, we will resume the video project that we had moved away for lack of resources in 2016 ...
We're going to buy:
ASUS ROG GL552VW-CN244T
Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ (2.6/3.5GHz, 6MB L3)
HD 1000 GB + 128 SSD - RAM 16GB -
Graphic nVidia GeForce GTX 960M(4 GB Dedicated)
for 1.300 euros
do you feel it a good choice?
Now the question that make us not sleep:
we had already purchased vMix Basic HD license and we used this software twice with Logitech HD Pro C920 WebCam in USB input,
now we would like to add a real videocamera to do close-ups with fading alternately with C920,
which video camera would you buy?
Are there video cameras that works with USB input?
Or in this case is mandatory a capture card?
In this case which capture card and which video cameras you should buy?

it's difficult to give you a reply. There are so many options, and it all depends on what you want to do and in which contexts you'll be working.
Why a laptop over a desktop? What is your motivation? It usually costs more and it also limits the type of equipments you can use with it such as capture cards. The ROG is a very good PC but maybe you don't need that for a webcam + one cam only. If money is limited, maybe there are others solutions to investigate.
USB is certainly the less interesting technology for multicam. However it can work. You might also consider cameras with RTSP protocol for example. But once again it all depends on your project and your budget. It is also possible to buy very cheap family HDMI camcorders which give pretty good results in most cases.
Take time to search the forum. You'll discover many options. Most of your questions have already been answered.

AFAIK, there are no USB cameras other than Web cams, but there are options with various dongles and devices that will convert camera video signals like HDMI and/or SDI (or even analog RCA) to USB, so your first step should be to find a camera that meets your budget and quality standards (you'll need to set some parameters there for others to offer suggestions) and then figure out which device or dongle you will need to capture it into your laptop and vMix.
In terms of a choice of computers, no major issues there, other than the SSD might fill up fast depending on how it is being used...
