So currently the company I work for have put together a vmix computer. Now we need recommendations for inputting SDI inputs into the computer. Preferentially we want to ingest https://xender.vip/4-5 inputs, probably more as the shows we put on increase. So if it's something that has more than 5 inputs, that'd be something we could still consider. Also 1080p60fps is preferred but would welcome 4k suggestions also.

Thanks for any input or advice.v https://nox.tips/

It is usually 4 inputs, then cards jump to 8. Check out the vMix Supported Hardware page

https://www.vmix.com/software/su...are.aspx#capturehardware

For 8 inputs, Blackmagic Design, AJA and Yuan would be the choices for supported hardware. Many users mention using Blackmagic. AJA cards are more expensive than Blackmagic devices. Martin and Tim use an AJA Corvid (44) on the vMix Fun Time Live Show. Yuan, have been supported by vMix for years.

Mostly this depends on your budget. Can you afford an 8-input SDI card, or would a 4-input do the job?
