Whenever I put up a powerpoint slideshow, it takes of at rapid speed. I've tried setting duration in powerpoint, tried slide show settings in vMix. The only thing that has worked is making 10 or so copies of the first slide, so I can put it up and pause it before it takes off. But if I want to go away and come back to some place in the middle of the show, it takes off again. It's really frustrating. |

Open the Slide Show Settings. Set the duration to "0". Using a Powerpoint Presenter, setup shortcuts using "NextItem" and "PreviousItem" |

So you're using display capture rather than loading the PPT into vMix?

I don't want to use a presenter for various reasons. So I put the shortcuts on the keyboard. But it still takes off. And it moves forward on its own. Really frustrating.

I tried a presenter. Same problem. As soon as I invoke powerpoint, it takes off. And it continues automatically advancing, no matter what I do. Invoking the PreviousItem shortcut may work for a second or two, but then it takes off again. |

IF I simply put PPT on screen, no problem. However, as part of multi-view, it advances uncontrollably. Multiview has camera input (me) in front; background image in the background, and PPT slides in between.

Quote:PPT on screen, no problem. However, as part of multi-view, what if you have a virtual input of your PTT input and put that in your multiview ? |

I have had this issue too. My fix is to not use PPT files, which is a huge pain. |

OK This is not what you originally reported. However, the solution is the same. Try this. Open a new blank profile. Open a Powerpoint input Open Slide show settings and set to "0" Close and save settings. (Click the top right "x" button on the settings window) Create a shortcut using "NextItem" to advance the slides. Set the source as Preview. Open a Camera Input Open a blank input. Open the Settings page. Select Multiview and choose a side by side template. Select the Camera as Overlay 1 and PPoint as Overlay 2. Put the Blank input into Program and the PPoint into Preview. Open the shortcut panel and test.... Alternatively point the shortcut directly at you PPoint input. I use up to 15 different PPoint presentations so find it easier to do the above. I also UNTICK Automatically Mix Audio, Restart on Transition and Play with Transition |

Excellent! Thank you! Solves this problem, and streamlines some other things I was doing. Thanks for the info, and for your patience! |
