@ Marvin
A lot will depend on your PC and its capabilities. Going beyond 2 full HD webcams on most average PCs can be problematic if the some of the ports are using a shared bus.

It used to be difficult. It's no so hard since vMix defaulted to setting MJPEG as the encoding type for webcams. I have three webcams connected to my desktop right now. All operating at 720p30. All connected to the same USB 3.0 hub. Older webcams like the Logitech C920 required a driver that was not capable of accommodating multiple connected devices. The newer Logitech Camera Settings app does support multiple connected webcams. It's only been available for less than a year. Otherwise, use a generic UVC driver instead of the Logitech specific one. Logitech describes how and why to do this: https://blog.logitech.co...-webcams-a-how-to-guide/
