I understand that the Canon webcam utility doesn't seem to allow a camera to connect to VMix..unless someone has found a solution?

BUT...why does the Vmix input dialogue box give such a massive range of resolution choices...only to throw back the message

'AddNewInput.The following are supported:

1024x576 NTSC 30p RGB

The data specified for the media type is invalid, inconsistent, or not supported by this object.'

?

can it only take 576 30p ? The camera is set to a resolution that's in the list? So why no hook up?

We can work around the limitations of 2 and work on a custom plugin for it if there is a lot of interest, but the limited resolution
and frame rate does limit the potential somewhat so would be interested in hearing your thoughts?

In summary, a cheap USB 3.0 Capture device would give a much better experience.

Hmmmm...I'm using a M6ii which is USB-C out....would have thought they'd have cracked this by now. I've given up and ordered a capture card.

But you've established that it outputs a fluctuating frame rate!!! That's pretty poor isn't it.
