I have a 4k license but if I connect my logitech Brio 4k, I can only select Full-HD-Resolution 1080p.... Higher resulution is not supported.
What can be the reason for that? Do I need a Computer with really powerful hardware to get this working, or is this an issue of settings in vMix?

Thanky you for your help!

On drop down menu for choosing a Camera, are you picking the Logitech BRIO MF?

no, the Brio without "MF".... assuming, that MF stands for manual focus....

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but make sure the webcam is plugged into a USB 3 port. USB 2 is limited to 1080p

... I used an USB-extension-cable that was not 3.0 compatible... Without I can use the camera with 4k resolution. :-)

But this leads me to the next problem.... I can only add the camera once... If I try to add it as an other input; I get an error-message that ist "Nicht genügend Systemressourcen, um den ageforderten Dienst auszuführen" - which means something like "
Insufficient system resources to perform the requested service"

Do I need more RAM or CPU to get this done.... I need to add the camera multiple times to be able to switch between different zoom and tilt/pan presets.....

USB video (UVC) devices are accessed using a software interface called "Direct Show" which is ages old and largely deprecated by Microsoft.

The "Brio MF" option uses a newer access method called "Microsoft Media Framework." This new approach is the only way to reliable deliver 4k30 over USB 3.0. It supports MJPEG and NV12 encoding.

Very few apps use MMF. The most notable reference app is Microsoft Camera, which is included with Windows 10. Also, Logitech Capture for Windows.
