@ mikeel74
Upgrading your graphics card might be the solution, but perhaps providing a few more details about your system, your set-up and your 'needs & wants' will assist in assessing what your best options will be.

MIKE Mike you might try reducing the size of your external output to 1280x720. Another consideration is how many inputs you have in vMix. Each input, including the external output, draws resources from your computer. There are two important benchmarks within vMix. One is the CPU. If the CPU is over 70% it indicated the CPU is overloaded. The other is render time. If the render time is at or over 20ms then your graphic card is overloaded. This information can be found in the bottom left corner in vMix. Happy vMixing! ~George

Thank you for the reply sir.
Im using Magewell Xi400-SDI as input device, with 3 HD cams active, my cpu is corei 7. Is my GT630 graphics card enough to handle this load? Im am planning to utilize my remaining 1 SDI input, All vmix function works ok when fullscreen is off..but when its on, cpu & latency suddenly increase, freezes(while editing titles, selecting cam as preview). Yes, I already tried to reduce the output size but did not solved the issue.. although i haven't yet tried to reduce the screen size output for my monitor.(2x 1920x1080) I really need to turn on the fullscreen for i will use it for realtime broadcast. We are a small CATV co. here in the Philippines and were using vmix for our community channel..

Just thought I'd throw out there that I noticed my render time going from 5ms . . . to 35ms when I turned Fullscreen on.
I lowered the resolution of my output monitor to 1024x768 (from 1920x1080). And my render time went back down to 5-8ms.
And I recently installed a new GeForce GTX 980 Ti.
Luckily my output is only 854x480, but I'm a little surprised the 980 can't handle the load.

I have a similar problem with the latest version. I explained it all in this topic : http://forums.vmix.com/d....aspx?g=posts&t=5513However, since the latest update (0.108), vMix doesn't freeze/crash anymore, but still, the footage becomes laggy with the time, with many framedrops in the Statistics window. This problem occurs only when my VMix Output Resolution is 1080p, but works fine when I'm in 720p.
