Hi...I have been using vMix from the time I saw it on line, 2009, or some time near that,...when it was in single dig1ts, and loved the ability to do what it does, and the simplicity......
One thing I would love to see is a more modern interface.....Think it is time vMix interface should get a facelift, and look a bit more like modern switchers....

1- remove those large colour bands from the top of the windows, and use a thin wrap around band, or just a square /
rectangle, or circle in the center.

2- floating windows would be nice, but not that important

3 - more modern looking Audio sliders (Faders).....

4 - An effects Pallet, not where it is now, but with floating windows, the user can place it where it is preferred...

5 - The ability to choose background colour, rather than just having Black, which is not bad, but just to have the
choice....

I have used a few other systems, and their GUI is more attractive.....

Hoping to see a more attractive vMix interface soon.

Thanks guys, for a wonderful program

Are you refering to the overal theme as that can be changed to the old blue for example (settings).

Yes....but NOT Blue alone....I like a deep Grey.....or the ability to adjust the density of the grey.....,,,,but that audio mixer needs some tweeking ....Vidblaster, and other streaming software all have nice graphics

I love vMix, but I would really appreciate if the vMix-team just took a look of how Adobe handles workspaces & panels within Premiere for example. Do not re-invent the wheel. Copy with pride - at least parts worth inheriting.

If this is too much to ask as it probably will effect a lot of code-related things, the following might be possible?:

- Add an option to hide Preview and Output in the "main view", and make the "Transition panel" movable (or possible to hide).

When you have a lot of inputs (as I usually have) and don't want/like to hide these in categories, you want to utilise as much screen real estate as possible for inputs. So having this opportunity would make it possible to use one monitor just for inputs, then configure a second monitor for Preview (Fullscreen1) and a third one for Output (Fullscreen2). You can stack these monitors with two 16:9 fullscreen monitors side by side and then a 21:9 or 32:9 monitor below these for inputs.

In vMix 25, you can expand the work area for inputs until about 3/4 from the bottom and up. The last 1/4 will contain a tiny Preview and Output divided by the Transition panel in the middle. I would have liked to use this area as well for inputs - because then I could probably also increase the size of the input windows as well so it becomes like a large MultiView layout.

Of course, all this would solve itself if the UI had dockable and resizeable panels/windows. Then you could even have windows for vectorscope and waveform wherever you wanted it. That would have been nice and useful.

Thx!
