Just wondering if people could recommend a decent size audio interface you have not had any issues with in vMix?
I've tried a Focusrite 18i20 and a Focusrite 6i6 and both give me some "ticking" audio every now and then which is not good. I have increased the buffer to the maximum 20ms of the devices and still no improvement.
Any help to fix it, or suggestions on a different device would be appreciated.
Thanks!

my guess is that you have mixed sample rates in the chain. vMix's default is 48 kHz, check all audio playback and recording devices in Window's Cotrol panel/Sound

But ticking in audio can be a symptom of a hardware issue as well. I had ticking in my audio for a few months, then the motherboard died. New motherboard... no ticking.
I like the Behringer UMC404HD as an audio interface. It is the one that Martin & Tim use for their monthly vMic Fun Time Live shows. It is USB-powered and all four of the Behringer's audio sources can be added into vMix as separate audio inputs using the ASIO drivers supplied with the Behringer.

So I've been tweaking things and I'm still getting the issue. It seems to be made worse when I'm recording. I have made sure everything is set to 48khz sample rate (focusrite, vmix and windows). However in vmix recording you can't select 48khz... any idea why? Could this be causing an issue?
Any other thoughts what it could be?
Cheers
