Hi, What exact issue were you having getting the live video into each box? To do multiview, you will need to 1. Add the two video/camera inputs into vMix as well as a third input for a plain colour such as black 2. Select the settings (i) button and go to Multiview, select the multiview option you require and choose the two videos/cameras from the drop down menus

As I do understand the MultiView is much more then "just" a double box feature.
Double Box means typically to show two different sources / cameras at a time on one screen or the program output (let's say a host and a guest in another studio). To realize this, there is no need to use "MultiView" in vMix. You can just use overlays / inputs and choose one of the templates, to prepare one input to show what you want. This has been possible in vMix for a long time (without "MultiView")
"MultiView" gives you much more flexibility and is typically used to show many different sources (not just 2 cameras) at a time as a feedback for production or on control screens. Therefore it includes program and preview and many more connected sources (for example next planed video) to be displayed at a time.

In vMix, Multi View refers to any feature that combines multiple "views" or "inputs" together. So the Multi View feature on each input can be used to create Double Box effects and there is also a separate Multi View output option which allows a grid of previews on a secondary display.
