Hi martin,

first of all a compliment: i noticed that in the multiview settings it is now possible to add a number for the crop settings. A request made some time ago. did not notce the version it was added in but i updated today to v 19.45. and noticed it. very helpfull.

but i also nioticed a bug in the multi view position settings, a small one but a bug anyways:

adjusting the zoom of input 1 is copied to input 2 but can not be adjusted, only the zoom x and zoom y.

i adjusted the zoom of input 1 to 0.80 and that same 0.80 was also in input 2 but not zoomed in. only when i adjusted the x and y zoom of that input i could change the zoom. the master zoom did not respond...

@ h2video.nl

Is your issue related to this previously mentioned observation: ?

hi Ice,

yes exactly like that.

so it seems to be a global issue. maybe Martin could have a look. nothing serious, but for unexperienced users very confusing.

Hi Stefan,

Can you provide step by step instructions to replicate? In the last thread I was unable to duplicate the problem
suspecting that some strange issue related to slow graphics card updates on the system may have caused it.

Regards,

Martin

hi Martin,

the problem is exactly like ice pointed out.

this is what i did:
1 opened two inputs: one camera and one desktop ndi capture 16:9
2 opened a color input and opened a multi view. selected nr 1 side by side
3 adjusted input one - the camera, set the adjustement to reset and then brought back to zoom 0.80 and pan to right
4 opened input two - the ndi desktop capture and noticed the 0.80 zoom alteady there. adjustment does not work.

just adjusted the x and y settings and noticed that only when i go unde 0.80 the number is changed.

the 0.80 seems like. harmles remnant of the previous view.

I can do some more tests but have to go to germany now for recording tomorrow.
