Try adding some more effects for mixing wipes etc ...Running a video music station because most of you use it for church programing even sports you don't need most of the effects but title programing like lower third control hot buttons etc ...Vmix is a very great program but its features have not changed since the day it has come out ....Nothing has been added but background work and maybe a few other things ....For broadcasting it would be great to see other things brought into the program just saying !

wtmuradiotv,
I can understand your frustration for your particular needs. But in my view, saying that "nothing seems to change" is bluntly unfair. Mixing vipes are certainly cool in music videos, but rarely useful in other fields.

My production company has used vMix for a few years now, and I am really impressed by the steady and frequent flow of new features. In particular if compared to traditional hardware video live production switchers. We use vMix for seminars, congresses, music events, studio productions, and more.

A new feature is always a new feature, even though not everyone might appreciate/use it.

Yeah, starwipe is really missing. :) Back to to 70's-80's years, like the composite video mixers, for example Cox-T16. :)

I think you bought a wrong software, you did a wrong choice, a wrong decision. Try Resolum or something similar.

VMIX is spectacular, and getting better and better with every new version. I love it, and I use for mission critical projects. This software is rock stable, always works. Respect for Martin!

I suggest you pay better attention to the release notes.

vMix has literally exploded with new features since I migrated from Wirecast a few years ago. The new VST capability is a huge new feature.

If you require new video transitions I suggest you look into stingers and work out how to built your own animated transitions.

No need for smart ass responses .....That's the issue with everyone now days they all have a smart ass mouth that tends to get them into trouble ....I know there were updates to the software and behind it to make it run smoother .I was saying there is some features i would like to see like to see other features come out on the program like control over the video etc maybe even a small editor to add in .Maybe even to adjust the darkness etc .

The list that was quoted to you was a list of “features” that have been added. When I started with vMix it was because it was the only software that offered the features I needed at the price point I could afford. And from there they have consistently added tangible features and new use cases based on the input from users in the feature request section of this forum.

Simply navigate to the feature request and let your voice be heard. You may have the next big addition that helps make vMix 21 the must have release for all of us...

As far as smart ass comments... in this world you should treat others how you want to be treated. And as far as I can read into it, they have reciprocated. I hope you find what you are looking for, have a great day.

When I was a boy, my mother would tell us, "If you answer everyone that rant and rave over what you say or do, you will eventually fall to their level"....
Lets just keep quiet, and allow this to blow away.....you can't, and will never please everyone.....I don't really like the GUI, but I adapted to it, and have no more issue ......and there is none like vMix out there....NONE.....
