Hi all,

using vMix 4K 25.0.0.34 x64 we succesfully control our Sony PTZ camera from the software.

However, with a Lumens VCA 50 P (without NDI activated, video coming in on SDI) PTZ control does not work.
Network is ok, control via browser is fine.
Using a Roland hardware video mixer PTZ control works.

Doublecheck with another vMix system also fails.

In vMix, I can connect to the PTZ, but not control the device. Wireshark with a Visca dissector gives an "Unknown command error".

Can somebody confirm this or has a solution/idea?

The vMix website lists the Lumens VCA 50 as compatible.

Thanks,

Christian

Hi Christian,

Is your problem solved already?

On the bottum side of the Lumens ptz there is a Camera Address Selectors. That has to be on number 1.
And just to be sure, update the firmware to 213 ;-)

Greetings Mano

Hi Mano,
thank you for the hint. I did not know that the cam uses an ID system. You might be right, the person renting it to us confirmed the ID setting, so I have to check this out.

Best regards,

Christian
