I am running VMix Pro. I run my 3 BMPCC 4K through an ATEM Mini Pro. My PC is an MSI GL75 Leopard which has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. The video card has 6GB of RAM and the computer itself has 16 GB of RAM. For audio I run a Zoom Podtrack P8. There is also a Logitech 920 web cam. All peripherals are connected via USB (either 3.0 or USB C.) Prior to recently VMix ran fine. I downloaded the latest version and while switching cameras I would get a lag where it would freeze on a single camera for anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds. The bottom of VMix would give me a warning of "GRAPHICS CARD OVERLOADED." At the suggestion of the forums I changed the performance settings to use the NVIDIA card as opposed the onboard card. I have not gotten the overload warning, and the "RENDER TIME:" has not gone over 8ms. The lag got better, but still is there occasionally. When I connected the ATEM to an external monitor there was no lag at all.
Any idea what I should be doing to get rid of this lag when it comes to switching cameras? I just ordered high speed USB cables and HDMI cables. I am hoping that this resolves it. But not sure it will.
Any suggestions are very welcomed and thanks in advance.
