I have a simple 2 camera setup. A camera has a text/grahpic overlay, I want to cut to the B camera clean with no overlay. How is that possible? I don't want to do it in two steps, fade off the graphic and then cut. This should be straight forward in basic production.
The reverse is true: how to I cut to a camera with a text/graphic overlay, when I use the Cut, the graphic fades on. Is that because there's a time embedded in the overlay channel that forces a fade whenever it's used?

If the overlay always appears on Camera A, you can use the multiview for Camera A to add the overlay.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in the middle of trying that good idea. Where to set to trigger; in Settings or in multi-view or in the input. There are many place to check. So the idea is to cut to the multi view instead of the camera. But I might loose a fade to get it on. I'm still playing with getting this idea on.

Making a multiview is straight forward. I can cut in and out of the multiview. Making a trigger little more challenge.

vmix cut.JPG (345kb) downloaded 9 time(s).Reference the picture attached... On the overlay's triggers, set up "OnOverlayIn" and "OnOverlayOut" to jump between your two cameras. then setup a shortcut to turn on or off the overlay and that is one way do your overlay induced transition

May i suggest asking this in a new post in the hardware section , you will have a better chance of getting a response (as now its buried in another topic )
