Hello,
Up to a few hours ago I could use vMix with LiveStream (LiveStream.com). Then all of a sudden the LiveStream Producer app will no longer acept vMix as one of the cameras....
Yes, the external is running.
What there is now, that I had not noticed before, is a green button next to the camera selection drop down at the bottom of the LiveStream Producer app that is named certified and vMix is not on the list.
Thanks is advance.
~George

I'm getting similar strange behavior using Livestream Producer version 0.0.64 and vMix 12.0.0.58.
vMix shows up as a camere in Livestream Producer, but trying to Go Live gets an error message that the camera is busy. I'm not on my main production computer right now, but there seems to be some issues.

Personally I'm thinking that the days of using vMix with LiveStream have come to an end. What I believe [assuming] LiveStream has done, is cut off support for software like vMix to entice LiveStream users to purchase its own overpriced mixing software. I would also venture that LiveStream's own mixing software can only be used in association with LiveStream which makes it even less desirable. ~George

That would be unfortunate, but a real possibility. I just uninstalled Livestream for Producers and downloaded it again and reinstalled. It was the same version, but now it is working again with vMix 12.0.0.58.

Thanks Kelvin, I just uninstalled and re installed the LiveStream Producer desktop app. Still no-go with vMix 11+. Hope, if you have time, please update in a week or so to let everyone know if vMix 12 continues to work on LiveStream Thanks Much, George

Stumped In Indiana
Well, I have to redo what I said about vMix (11+) and LiveStream. Not sure what’s going on here. Decided to play around with Adobe Flash Media Encoder (Windows 8x64).
In the past Adobe Flash Media Encoder would recognize vMix as an input but tonight it would not.
Fired up my Windows 7x64 computer and Adobe Flash Media Encoder did recognize vMix as an input source in Windows 7.
Then I opened up LiveStream Producer on the Windows 7 and it too recognize vMix as an input source.
Did some more checking and noticed that in the Windows 8 computer has Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.2. The Windows 7 computer has Adobe Flash Media Encoder version 3.1.
Did a short LiveStream with the Windows 7 computer with vMix 11+ and everything worked fine.
So as for now, vMix works with LiveStream using the Windows 7x64 computer but will not with my Windows 8 computer.
~MORE~
Downloaded the new vMix 12 Beta into the Windows 8 computer. Now LiveStream producer recognizes vMix as an input in the Windows 8 computer.

Once I saw your post. We went and checked to see if Livestream is working for me as I have not used them for a while.
Yes, livestream producer does seem to work with vMix 12. I did full streaming test and also checking actual stream on other computers. I selected vmix is camera selection. Glad it still seems to work.
Have been using YouTube lately though.
Cheers Bryan

From what I know today, yes, vMix 12 is working with LiveStream on my Windows 8 laptop and my Windows 7 desk computer that has vMix 11+ installed. I plan on doing a LiveStream with the Windows 8/vMix 12 tomorrow (Saturday afternoon/probably late afternoon). As far as YouTube, I'm assuming you mean their Live Event streaming? No have not used that in a while. For me there are just too many hoops to jump through for the type of live streaming I normally do. Here's my Livestream URL if you want to check late Saturday. http://new.livestream.com/accounts/856245I did however do a Google+ Hangout On Air today. I had heard about some of the enhancements Google had made within HOA and wanted to check it out; very impressed. I used vMix 12 as the camera source with the HOA and everything worked great except for my audio which I had cranked up a bit too high. ~George

Thought I had better update using vMix (12) w/LiveStream since the event on LiveStream will be deleted after 30 days. Worked GREAT! Thanks vMix!
