Hello all! Just discovered this piece of software and liking it. I have one issue with the title designer and that is if it's possible to change images the way we can change text? It does look like it's doable but I cant figure out why I'm not having any success with it. Thanks

I had quite the time with this feature using it wirelessly. It would work flawlessly for 30 minutes or so and then would lose connectivity. It could only be resolved with a reset of the software. Ultimately I ended up hardwiring through a switch and only had one more drop. This feature is a definite must have for the race coverage that we provide. I hope all the bugs can be worked out soon.

Hello from Germany,
first of all, i would like to say Thank You for this great Programm.
I use Vmix for streaming our Icehockey Home Games. I would like to know, if it´s possible to generate also a own scoreboard with the titel designer? Maybe, a tutorial exists for such kind of Question?
Regards from Germany Tobias

Hi, the Title Designer is very nice. However, I have encountered an annoying problem when fine-tuning the title. If the xaml title is open in vMix, it cannot be edited in the designer and saved. You have to first close it in vMix and then save it, and after reload it again. I guess there are some file locking happening.
It would speed up tuning the titles a lot if the xaml could be saved without having to close the title in vMix.
Also, it would be really nice if a list of titles could be saved into a text file, because reloading xaml loses all title text presets every time - also when closing an opening vMix.

A couple of bugs. Some observations: 1 White text is hard to see against the checkerboard background. 2 The text box drag handles are not obvious and hard to grab. 3 No grab to stretch horizontally when right justified. 4 If one sets the Text/alignment to Right then the cursor position gets mucked up. To edit right justified text, Set to left justify. Click outside the text box. Then Click back inside it. I added some pictures to the original blog post to show the result and the issues. http://thomsoneu.blogspo...ownstream-key-issue.html

It would be great to be able to include actual video footage in the title design IMO. I currently need to create dynamic title bars as an AVI file in my video editor, and then I need to create a title in editor without the bar, and then use 2 overlays. Perhaps the ability to mask the video for the title as well???

I have a question about saving the file and using the text editor available live.
I created my template, used SaveAs in the Editor, and then using admin permissions (Win 7) saved the xaml file and the PNG graphic to the "titles" folder in vMix.
They do not show up when I try to choose them using the Titles tab - but if I manually search for the template image, I can load it as an image.
What step did I miss when creating the custom Lower third?
Using vMix 12.0.0.124 x64 on Win 7, and my vers is the SD licensed.
Thanks in advance
Kel

Hello, You are not obligate to save them in the Vmix default folder for Title You can create a folder where you put all your creation and open them doing ADD INPUT, choosing XAML and browse to look and choose your XAML Rgds C. coskel22 wrote:I have a question about saving the file and using the text editor available live.

I'm joining all the positive commenters - the Title Designer is really useful! And I think it's OK that it has limited functionality (better that StudioCoast focuses its Resources for vMix).
One thing that bogged me quite a while turned out to be a Windows 8 issue (thanks Microsoft ;). In Win8 the windows scaling/resolution/adjustment - I don't what, displays only a part of the graphics loaded into the Title Designer. Don't know if this is related to Title Designer, or if I should change yet Another setting in Windows 8. Finally I got it working simply by running Win7.
And, as "watchfulone" already pointed out, Title Designer (and vMix) "need to be more compatible with other font types". Many of the fonts I have installed (eg True types) can not be used.
Thanks!
