I am proud to announce the upcoming release of vMix Title Designer.

vMix Title Designer will allow users to design high quality titles and graphics for overlaying in vMix.
In additional vMix Title Designer will run over a network and push updates to vMix in real time.
This feature could be used to update the scores on a scoreboard overlay for example.

vMix Title Designer will be included free with vMix HD Edition or separately for $30.

Any questions or suggestions can be posted within this thread.

Regards,

Martin

This sounds very promising and I would definately be interested in using it. At this point I have to use Wirecast if I want to use subtitles.
From my perspective I see the following use cases and required functionality:

1. To broadcast a conference I would need a system to prepare 20 different titles (3 text lines, 1 background image, 1 logo), a few visuals for breaks and most importantly - easily change them. I would also need to be able to assign the subtitle not only to general video output, but also to one specific camera (that is filming a specific person)
2. To broadcast a sports event I would need a stopwatch mm:ss (to be able to count forward and backwards) with start and stop buttons + two scores with +1 +2 +3 buttons for each team + one png background

Another approach would be to create the subtitle designer in a way that there is infinite number of "subtitle frames", that each can be modified by adding and pisitioning an infinite number of certain objects, such as images, texts, scores, stopwatches, flash, html5, etc. The "subtitle frames" would be possible to copy to create a new subtitle from template. And duting the live broadcast it would be possible to easily change the active subtitle frame for inputN or Output.

These are just some thought, however I thing that its prretty important that community is also involved, hence I welcome everyone who would be willing to use this additional product, to also contribute,
Thanks,
Dundurs

Hi,

I am monitoring the responses in this thread, but as the first release is still a while away I can't confirm
any features at this stage.

Due to some overlapping features in vMix 2012, the Title Designer has been put on hold.
You can read about the new Title features in vMix 2012 below:
