A brief update: Martin has made som fixes to the Title Designer that includes better font management (eg True type support), improved image scale handling for Win8, and version information in the window's name. These are currently available in v14 Preview.

Those of us who have problem with older postscript fonts (eg .pfb/.pfm), which cannot be handled by the Title Designer, have to find newer equivalents (eg .ttf). No big problem.

Just realized that it would be nice that the Title Designer started by asking for the desired screen resolution, and not just assumed 1920x1080. Of course one can change by creating a new design, but that's too easy to forget to do.

And, perhaps a bug. I previously had problems on one of my PC's (Win 8.1) with that images (eg the background) when loaded was only partially displayed (bottom right outside the edit window). Now in 1.9.0.3 the image fits nice. But if create a new Title 1280x720, load a 1280x720 background image, and select Zoom 100%, the image displayed is much bigger than 1280.

I noticed that if a background image is added, TitleDesigner makes a copy of it. Maybe that's worth to mention in the help file.

I found this out when trying out a solution to use relative addressing, which works if it is made afterwards by editing the xaml in notepad or similar ;)
