Just something I am trying to do but am unable....I want to have 2 0r 3 Scorebugs running, one is carrying a timer, the issue I have is in Panel Builder, I can not get the scores to advance on all three at the same time....I can do it in UTC, so that when I choose any scoreboard, it will have the correct scores automatically....as sometimes I have to display a ticker ans a scoreboard, and want to use a Scorebug in the top corner...
In other words, I want a single button to do 2 or 3 commands at the same time.....I tried the semicolon but it does not work, I tried a colon, but that did not work either

Hi Joeboe,
Normally you would do this by building a script into one button and applying the required parameters to multiple scoreboards. Unfortunately, the current version of the "Script Builder" within the Panel Builder app doesn't properly support incremental values (example +=1 for incrementing score fields). This has been fixed in my new updated version. The new version will have also iPad and Android synchronization for which I am still doing some testing.

I found a way to get multiple scoreboards to sync., but I can not get Panel Builder to trigger the keyboard shortcup....I followed the instructions in the Help file, but it does not work....I use a single key to advance the scores, and it works, but to get Panel Builder to trigger that key, is where my problem lies

Has anyone worked out if its possible to control/switch the camera angles in a virtual set from Panel Builder? There are four of them available in any virtual set and a choice between how they transition (cut and multiple pan/zoom times).

Use the "SelectIndex" command and enter the camera angle in the Value field (1-4). It will zoom to the selected angle using te current speed settings.
cheers, Richard

Hello, Thanks for this vMix controller - vMix Panel Builder -. I bought an ASUS VT168N LED touch screen monitor 15.6 ". Modified the stand so that the monitor is less steep. Set the ASUS VT168N as the main screen. Show the taskbar at the top. Start vMix and display on the big monitor. Greeting IMG_20190515_084621.jpg (136kb) downloaded 23 time(s). Looks nice.....but do you know that you can use the Icon buttons to show what kind of input you are using, rather than having to name them ..Cam 1, Cam 2 ...etc....your layout is nice, but check my earlier posts and see how you can personalize the buttons...also, you can also have all the transitions displayed as well....

Hi!
Great work! I have a small issue with the Panel Builder not being able to run on more than one machine. When I run the Panel Builder on another machine then the other doesn't work. This is resolved when Panel is on only one machine. Any fix?
Thanks

That will happen, since they are both logging on to the same ip address....I do not think you will get both to work....I have not tried it myself, but I think only one instance of Panel Builder at a time....it is similar to having 2 transmitters on the same frequency...one will cancel the other.

@ Carlosx8664
Technically, you should be able to run it on 2 computers at the same time. Could you provide a bit more info on your setup. (vMix computer type, computers running Panel Builder, Router/Switch type).
regards, Richard

regards, Richard A Xeon Server (X5570, 16GB RAM, VMIX 22) and two Windows workstations (i3 & i5) on a Gigabit switch. Both machines are connected to the Xeon server with VMIX via this switch and both access the same IP address. But when one is open, the other doesn't work until I close the Panel Builder on the other computer. Strange

That is strange indeed. I just tested with 2 PC's and 1 MacBook Pro simultaneously and it works OK. It seems like a network issue. I'm assuming you might have other software running on your server other than vMix that might be causing this ?
If you are using a managed switch, it could be something in the configuration ? I'm kind of grasping at straws here....

When I reload a control surface I often find that a few of the audio faders will flick up and down uncontrollably. The only way I can stop it is to go in to the edit mode then re-select the input on each on, exit edit more and its all good again. Any thoughts on why this happens or how to avoid?

UI had that issue at one point, but it went away...think I did an update of video card drivers and it stopped....not sure what I did but it stopped.....It could also be from windows....just an annoying thing.....but sometimes just closing and reloading fixes that as well....
I am looking towards the next update.....hope a new one comes out soon as well....haven't seen any updates in months...

Hi Joeboe,
There should be an update in early July. I've been on the road doing some shows and haven't had much time to code..
cheers, Richard

I also remember that happening....try resetting the inputs as the input number rather than the name.....for example:....you may have the input as the Name of the file...try using the number that is that input....report back and let us know how that worked....

Question from a panel newbie...I hope that someone can assist. I want to try and create an interface to control sports graphics, with that can I only still have 4 overlays? In addition can I load a roster to add penalty clocks etc? I would like to see the time of the period, score, shots etc within the panel if possible; similar to the image below. These are either overlays or elements within the overlay such as the scorebug, shots, penalty timers - I would also like to sync the penalty timers to show in the interface and on the output.

The Panel Builder was designed to be more of a switcher rather than a custom sports scoreboard. Although it can perform most of the functions shown in your image, it doesn't have the ability to load rosters or custom text into pulldown menus. Having said that, I like your idea and it may not be too hard to add it in some way to the app. I will give it some thought .
As far as overlays goes, there are only 4 available in vMix. You can sometimes use the Input's multiviews to display certains things. Note: They will only key on/off without effects.
cheers, Richard
