Hi Martin,
Thank you for the new version, great job!.
Since a control surface is not available BUT there is an option to control the system via web (i.e. iPad) I'm looking into ways to maximize its ability to replace a hw cont.surf. Since the biggest different is the T-Bar, I thought that the following option will be good replacement:
A stepped effect - a "stepped effect key" which will be "sticky key" (remain active until pressed again). While this key is selected, every chosen effect will be executed with a stop point (key point) in the middle of duration. Above and below that key, will be 2 keys: prog. and prw. - the user can choose if he want the effect to continue to the next source (preview) - the usual way, OR - reversed effect - back to the current source on air (Prog). Since the duration can be set for each effect, one can assign the same effect twice to the effects raw - once for "normal" use, with short duration, and one with longer duration, for stepped effect.
2. Can the "Active" label be replaced with "Program"?
3. Beside of using a not common port - is there a way to secure the connection? if the system is used in a public place and "web" is enabled - it won't be too long until someone will hijack the control....
Thanks again for a great system,
Sharon.
