I would like to see some additional organizational features added to vMix. The recent addition of extra mix sends, output inputs, preview inputs, etc. has increased the need for advanced organization. I would like to be able to:

1. Manually assign input numbers, and have non-sequential input numbers. For instance, camera inputs start at 1, cards start at 20, L3 starts at 40, Output/Preview inputs start at 200, mix inputs start at 300, etc. While this grouping can be done now with the color groups, Manually assigned input numbers can keep things grouped effectively. Another way this could be implemented would be to allow the user to specify a starting number for each type of input. Further to this paradigm, a sorting system for inputs, which could be perhaps "numerically," "alphabetically," and "group by type" could be quite helpful in getthing things sorted out.

and

2. Allow a group to be set as "default" other than the all-inputs group, and allow inputs to be placed in more than one group. In this scenario, the default group can be cameras, frequent cards and l3s, etc. It would then sometimes be helpful to have those same inputs duplicated in other groups. For instance, a camera is in both the "default" group and in a "cameras" group, and in a "camera 1 presets" group, etc.

It seems that many of the tools to do this sort of thing are already in the software (groups, input numbers), and these features would be very helpful enhancement.

Thanks for your consideration.
