If possible, provide a screenshot of the statistics window, the audio column should show if audio is being dropped. The clicks and pops occur in a mpeg recording but wmv seems OK. I have sent you a screenshot at info at vmix.com.au I can see the audio drops happening on both "live" audio and recorded files, and both when it is recording and when not recording. Regards

I just did a test and I am not seeing this. Are you sure it's not this way in the source video being played? How are you making sure there is no audio feedback?

A new update has been released (13.0.0.120)http://www.vmix.com.au/download/vmix13preview.exeAudio Jitter CorrectionSome audio devices are not capable of low latency audio which vMix requires. To help workaround this, every 20 seconds vMix will check these devices and if the amount of dropped audio (clicks and pops) is high it will increase the latency for that particular input. This will create better quality audio at the expense of being a little more delayed than usual. Video Playback IssuesThis update should hopefully resolve most playback issues. However, there is an issue with MP4 recordings created in vMix under Windows 7. (The duration on the audio track is incorrect) This is fixed in Windows 8 but for recordings created under Windows 7, I will work on repair utility. In the meantime, playback will work, but with a delay for the audio to kick in when seeking. Title Presets Import/ExportImport and Export of Title presets is now available in CSV format. Regards, Martin vMix

Hi. Suddenly now when adding an .mpg file as an input, or removing that input vMix becomes unresponsive and appears to freeze. Eventually the input appears and vMix comes back to life. This is the same file/s that I have been using to test the previous build. Adding other inputs seem fine but I have only tested with .wmv files and camera/audio inputs at this stage.

I've found the MPG issue and updated the installer above to include the fix. It is still 13.0.0.120

Maybe a bug (.120)
when trying to setup recording mp4 and choosing NOT to record audio (uncheck) I get the following error when confirming:
Recording_OK_Button Object reference not set to an instance of an object

When you think it's simple you're free to program your own software. Your disrespectful demands are annoying.

I have deleted the offending posts and sent him a formal warning. Sorry you had to hear that sort of language ovinas.
In the past I have kept moderation to a minimum in the hope of encouraging productive if sometimes lively discussion.
However, this incident and the increase in off-topic posts has made me think a bit more moderation is required.
This is a reminder to everybody to keep discussions on topic and civil. I will also do my part by making it clearer in the first post of a thread what can or cannot be posted.
Thanks,
Martin vMix

Hello Martin,
I think there are some problems with displaying the "REC" "EXT" "STREAM" .
In my tests:
a) when "EXT" is on, the "STREAM" flag dissapear
b) when "STREAM" flag is visible, it is positioned over the Program screen ( on the right side)
P.S. - I really like the new design of those flags as they are more visible.

Thanks for that, not sure how I missed it.
Hopefully we're on the home stretch now and only a handful of bug fixes remain before the final release! So keep them coming!

I want to disable Overlay4 for Fullscreen and Recording/External and enable it only for Fullscreen 2 but when a untick it for Fullscreen it is automatically ticked on Recording/External and vice versa. Is it bug or vMix/system limitation?

The new possibility to change the input on the fly is really nice. The only thing I found when changing the input, the connected entry in the playlist get lost.

While I can't completely rule out a bug in vMix, it sounds a bit too analog in nature to be caused by software. Perhaps the reset also reset something in the hardware.

Been a dare devil this week and used v13.0.0.104 in a few real productions last week. On mistake we made many times was to start External instead of Streamer. I suggest that the buttons (bottom part of main window) would rather be labeled as:
[Setup][RECORD], [Setup][EXTERNAL], [Setup][STREAM] (where former buttons Start is RECORD, EXTERNAL, STREAM)
