Hello .. I have two computers at my church
Streaming PC and Projection PC
Both are windows 10 32bit. Gigabyte network

I have vMix NDI running on the Projection PC.

I have Vmix 18 running on my streaming pc.

When I go to NDI input I see the projection pc with PowerPoint loaded but its black. Its labeled correctly
So I know Vmix sees the projection pc.

On the Projection PC and vMix NDI is showing error.

Getting this error message.
System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. at vMixDesktopCaptureLibrary

I read something close on Knowledge Base but it refereed to windows 7..

Hi,

Would it be possible to copy and paste the full error message here? Looks like part of it got cut off.

Is PowerPoint maximized and running fullscreen on the display? vMix Desktop Capture can't capture hidden or minimized windows, so that is something to check also.

Regards,

Martin

Hi,

This error means something is not right with the graphics on the computer being captured.
Usually making sure windows is up to date and the latest drivers are installed will fix it.

Failing that you can go into Settings in desktop capture and untick Use GPU Acceleration

Martin
