Have two clients who have had this happen recently. The recording spontaneously stopped after about 50 minutes.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks.

I record MP4 50mb for hours at a time without any problem. Did they get the PC from you?

The PC's are not ones I built. Built by a third party.

Here's another question or two -
1) How big are the files when the recording stops (if you can still see them on the disk)?
2) What file system has been used to format the disks onto which the recordings are being made?

I believe there's a 4GB file size limit on FAT32 partitions. I wouldn't have thought you'd be hitting that with the recording spec stated, but it's worth checking just in case.

The important thing to check is what message appears when the recording stops.
There will always be some kind of popup error message when it stops and that will be the key to determining what is happening.

Otherwise the only way for the recording to stop without a message is if a shortcut key has been assigned to StopRecording
and it has been pressed accidentally.

Martin
