Hello Everyone!

Has anyone built a vMix system in a 1U rack mount like the vMix go?
I am looking for an extremely portable system to encode 1080HD video with 4 SDI inputs and ingesting RTSP feeds.

Pictures, Boards, Enclosure ideas?

Thanks!

Sorry that is the system I meant.

I could not find that page and thought they have taken them off the market.

Has anyone built a custom 1U computer?

Was looking to build a VMix 1U for a flight case to replace our ATEM TV Studio, but I want to do more hardware testing to see if a good quality GPU card is needed to ingest or RTSP feeds and 4 cameras.
Getting one ePCI card into a 1U is a challenge so if it needs a gpu card, then you will be looking at a 4U case. So I may just go 4U as all my cards I have now in Thunderbolt expansion boxes will work/fit.

If you do build a 1U let us know the results as a compact solution would be great for small flight cases and quick setups.

on a side note: I use an intel nuc i7 with tb3 port to akitio box with bm duo2 with 4 sdi inputs,

smaller than a 1u system, and very powerfull and flexible. it comes with brackets to attach to a monitor.

if you want you can put it in an enclosure. mouse and keybord by bluetooth.

if you need more info let me know.
