I thought I read somewhere that Vmix was not compatible with Windows 8. Is that still the case?

I'm looking to get a new laptop, probably an MSI GT70 and they only offer Windows 8.

Hi Dave,

Not sure where you read that, Windows 8 is listed as supported on our web site:

http://www.vmix.com.au/supported-hardware.aspx

i just tested (just because i could) vmix on the thinnest hardware i had with win8 (i3 in a ultrasmall formfactor with 8 gb)
did 720p like a charm.

didn't notice any difference compared to win7.
