Hello,
Are there any plans to add audio support to the Windows 8+ Desktop Capture?
Thanks,
~George

I'll re-download. The Desktop Capture app I have on my 8.1 Windows desktop has the audio button dimmed out.

The check box will be greyed out when capturing the desktop of the same PC.
The reason for this is it will cause an audio echo, as you will end up capturing the audio output of vMix as well.

thanks 1 user thanked admin for this useful post.

I just want to say vMix 14 is Fan-Dang-Tastic. I have been using vMix since version #8 and what a great product it is. Thanks to you and your team for making such a fine product available.
Thanks,
~George

I second that!! I absolutely love this software. I really started using vMix for the beginning of football season. I played with it earlier this year but stayed with the crap I was using. It can do SO MUCH and the only unfortunate thing is you kind of have to figure alot of advanced stuff out. I wish there were some more training videos that show how to really dig in and use vMix to its fullest potential. It pretty much seems if you want to do something, it is possible, you just have to figure out how to do it.

Maybe down the road some guys who are really advanced with vMix will make some indepth training videos to show off all the capabilities of vMix and show us how to do it :)

Is there any way to get around this and capture local audio (say from a YouTube video or SoundCloud)? Wouldn't disabling audio monitoring in the audio mixer solve the looping issue?
