Hi there.

I'm experiencing an issue with video inputs using vMix8 on Windows XP. Some videos work fine, some don't: i just hear audio and no image. Can't figure out any difference between them. The same happens trying to load .avi, .mpeg, .mov videos.

Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

hi araton,

try to install k-lite mega codec pack... your problem must be some video codecs that are not installed, click below to download latest version:

First of all, thanks for your answer.

When I first noticed the issue I thought the same, that it was a codec problem. But I already had a k-lite codec pack installed, and with vMix 2012 everything just worked fine. The problem began after I upgraded to vMix 8.

Anyway, I also tried to install the mega codec pack as you suggested but nothing changes.

What could I try now? Thanks.

Regards.

Hi,

What graphics card do you have?
vMix 8 includes some new graphics features that require a recent graphics card.

Quite an old one actually, it's an ATI Radeon about 6 years old.

It could be that the problem? Even in reproducing simple .avi or .mpg file?

Thanks for your help.
