Can you tell me what ticking the "use Hardware Encoder (BETA)" will actually do. Not sure how it works with V 16.115.

It will use the videocard instead of the cpu for the encoding. In vmix 17 it's out of beta and it helps a lot keeping cpu usage down, which can be used for other things.
