Use Decklink card as input and output at the same time

Hello,
I read in the help file that to capture and output at the same time with Decklink I will need two or more devices, one for each. So, I need 2 cards to get my input and generate output, right?
Is that limitation related only to Decklink and Intensity cards, or for any other card?

Thank you Depends on the card, some have 2 or more in/outputs on a single card. There's many decklink models, you can check them on the blackmagic website. If you need a simple output, buy a decklink mini monitor card (145$), this gives you HDMI or SDI out.
