Desktop Capture Not Working

Hello,
I have vmix basic hd installed on my pc running windows 7 and desktop capture on my macbook pro with iOS 10.10.3. Vmix is giving me the error "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond". My mcp firewall is not activated. I have redownloaded and installed desktop capture. I have Blackmagic intensity extreme and have un-installed that as well. Any suggestions?

What version of vMix are you running?
Was this working before?

Ice,
Thanks for your response. Its vMix version 15.0.0.74 . The mcp is new so its the first time I've used desktop capture with it.
I reset my wireless router and it is working now. I'm surprised since wifi seemed to be working, but glad it's running.
