hardware encoding with nvidia 5070 - message says untick hardware encode. Audio glitches badly

Using a new high end HP PC with Nvidia 5070. Streaming setup message said to untick hardware encode. Hardware encode always worked with my 12 year Dell.
Any Ideas what to do. Client is PO'd due to extensive audio glitches.
