Greetings,
I am a new user working with VMix in my trial period. I have been using the application to create content for my social media channels.
I am trying to set up a trigger that will automatically change the input of a Virtual Set at a specific point during the the clip
For example, I am creating a news show and on Screen 3 of the Virtual set, I have an input of a clip from APnews. After 10 seconds of the clip, I want the input to change to another clip of a different story on Reuters, and so forth.
Any help would be appreciated to know if this is possible.
Thanks

Scripting will be your best bet: play video , have a counter within your script , when counter is at end change layer of virtual set with next clip start counter again for next or use a list as input for the layer of ( edited ) clips is also an option

Greetings! I was able to use the list functionality with a little editing to the videos as you mentioned. Do you know if it is possible to add pauses to the list without pausing the stream

Might be worth it to Go through all the available shortcut function and check what they do and play with them to understand them Oh and there is a shortcut reference list in the helpfile too, IMO the function names are pretty obvious

Thanks, Doggy, you have been a great help, and I am working through them now. The shortcuts and triggers are especially helpful as I am producing and recording everything myself
