14.0.0.101 x64, win 7 sp1, i7 2660

I add input "HDR HC1 1920x1080 NTSC 29.97p bit rate 75 (use hardware encoder checked) " - the video/audio shows up fine (ignoring the audio delay). It looks great on screen.

However, when I record it, the video is compressed vertically. It distorts the image and adds black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

In the image below - the top is the file that vMix produces. The bottom is that same file with the vertical dimension expanded 135% (making it normal) (and color corrected a bit) test. This normal image is what shows on the screen in vMix - but the recorded file is compressed.

here is a 3 second test file from my camers (a darker room) - just so you can study the file to understand what the vertical compression is. http://rationalspirituality.com/test.mp4

How can I fix this? Thanks!

You need to change the aspect ratio of the source. Click the "settings" icon in lower right corner of input window. See attached image.
