* Onboard deinterlacing on Magewell cards is now automatically disabled
as vMix supports automatic deinterlacing internally.

Hi Martin,

hardware deinterlace of magewell cards works better than vmix deinterlace.
because sharpness option disables vmix deinterlace......
its better to use magewell hardware deinterlace this way.
now i have manually reactivate deinterlace on the card.....
not very pratical..... :(

Best regards,

PFBM

The fix is only for a specific issue where you use the Sharpen effect on interlaced magewell sources.

Can you confirm what issues you are having, as this fix should not affect most users?

Thanks,

Martin

maybe a check box on settings for hardware deinterlace feature would respond to all users

Yep !

there has allways been the problem between vmix deinterlace and sharpness
a hardware check box should do it.
on some cards that also have hardware image control , should also have this option.

here is another example of one of the best capture cards on the market :

http://www.ospreyvideo.c...osprey-cards/osprey-460e

Pre-Processing:

Logo/bitmap overlay
Closed-caption extraction/rendering
Logo/bitmap overlay
Scaling, cropping, de-interlacing and inverse telecine
Loss of video automatic test pattern generation with text overlay option

all Hardware stuff on the card just as is on Magewell cards.
