This is also a probable bug, just opening an old preset, close it immediately, then vMix ask to Discard Changes or not: No Preset Change.gif (524kb) downloaded 2 time(s).Sometimes this is not happening (without any change, just opening preset) which make it more confusing.

Please be kindly advise.
Thanks in advance. I don't see a difference here between v24 and v25 Noticed you are not using the same picture though Hi Doggy, I tried to simulate it on other computer by installing vMix 24. Usually for a pictures that not having 16:9 ratio, it will have gap on left and right side. You can see the transparency that I marked with Green Check, it is gone on vMix 25 (now filled with Black Solid). Thanks in advance.

switching background transparency between black, white and "squares" can be an interesting improvement and helps too much...

This is the new Add Black Borders option in the right click Slideshow Settings window. You can uncheck it if you want to go back to the old behaviour. P.S if you change this option, it will go into effect on the next slide change, so change the slide back and forth one if you need it immediately back to transparent for the current slide.

I have a machine with vMix 24 and NGINX, running a 24/7 WebTV, you can check that out on https://iescc.pt/tv im planning to move to vMix 25 because of livelan feature and for having a second private channel with special content. My question is, does livelan works well with two or three simultaneous streams? edit: if yes, how can i access them separately?

I have an issue with image input when the image isn't wide screen and I set it as anamorphic to maintain the original aspect ratio . Every time you re open the preset, goes back to widescreen (or source which in this case is the same). I dont think is a recent bug but is still there

To answer a few similar questions in one: LiveLAN is only for local network streaming, it should not be used on a public facing server or site and only one stream can be sent at a time (but obviously with multiple viewers of said stream). See documentation: https://www.vmix.com/help25/LiveLan.html

thanks admin and sync747,
admin, i understand the livelan feature is aimed to stream to local network only... at least for now.
in 24 i had to find a way to not only stream but also turn my local stream accessible from internet.
I realy need to thank you (and all vmix team) for the job on 25, you built the bridge that i only founded in NGINX... BUT dont forget livelan has a huge potential to reach some other improvements outside of local network.
thanks again

in https://www.vmix.com/help25/PresetsMenu.htmlQuote:"Audio settings for each input and all three audio buses (Master, A and B)" I believe we have more buses than that ;) 25.0.0.22 and the Open Preset functionality. A really handy featured introduced some versions ago was that vMix could find and load "missing" files as long as they were in the same folder relative to the preset folder. Now we get the "files missing..." warning BUT those files are not anymore loaded when they are in the same relative folder. I really hope that this is a mistake, and not replaced by the introduction of bundles. Preset bundles are probably useful in many cases, but generally not for us. Let med add our general workflow to Steve's comments below. We typically have a production folder (e.g. for a conference) with the Preset and Settings files. In that production folder there a number of sub-folders with various assets, including rundowns. Some assets (e.g. a video file) might be on another hard drive due to speed and disk capacity limitations. Furthermore, when preparing the productiion the assets can be changed (e.g. a file/video is replaced) without the need to start vMix. Later on we can copy the main folder to another folder, and modify everything for a new project. For finished projects we need to remove a lot of assets due to GDPR, besides cleaning up no-need-to-archive stuff. Originally Posted by: stevespaw Originally Posted by: admin Apologies Steve, but I am a bit confused, that scenario you mentioned is why it defaults to saving back to the vmixZip again. If you click Change on an input and change to another file, it will save that new file into the vmixZip again so everything saves together. Ok maybe I don't get the whole picture. My understanding is that when you save to a vMixZip it bundles everything up into a zip, which is great. But, if I add content or make changes and save back to the vMixZip is it re-bundling and adding to the zip? I guess that the files that are unchanged are not affected? A clip I may add stays where it was for the show, but if I send the vMixZip elsewhere - it has it and changes the path when opening on a new machine? So, if Add a big video clip then it gets put into the Zip on save? I will have to think about this, but it seems like a lot of overhead, but I could be wrong. Since we in any case typically will end up with a few (sometimes many) missing files, I really appreciate that v25 makes it possible to locate these before the "opening" is continued. Since this topic are not for FR I posted one separately. Check it out, and see if you can find the spelling error in the quote from the help file ;) https://forums.vmix.com/...m-during-Open#post100296

vMix 25 Preview Update Released (25.0.0.23)
* Fixed delay on Output input, should now be a 0 frame delay. * Fixes for some edges cases with IO4K Plus output and Kona HDMI 4K input. * vMix will now check for files in the same folder as a preset like earlier versions, before prompting to locate a file.
Short of any show stopping bugs in the next 24 hours, this will become the public release on Wednesday.

Not sure what this means. If we using v24 open a Preset, which is in a folder with a different name than when the Preset was saved, all files in the subfolder loads correctly. But, with 25.0.0.23 they do not. Unfortunately I currently have no time to create a preset from scratch to further investigate, and I can't share the actual data. But in principle: If the folder structure Quote:Production-original-folder\preset.vmix Production-original-folder\images\image.jpg is changed to (not changing any files) Quote:Production-changed-folder\preset.vmix Production-changed-folder\images\image.jpg With v24 opening Production-changed-folder\preset.vmix finds image.jpg With v25 opening Production-changed-folder\preset.vmix flags image.jpg as missing, and does not load it (unless it is manually Located)
