vMix 25 Preview Update Released (25.0.0.21)
* New Output input for 4K, Pro and Max which routes the Program feed for use as another input.
This can be used to show a picture in picture of the Program when sending a different output to callers for example.
* Fix for Mark In button staying red if opting to use a -X time button instead after.
* vMix will now internally check for any preset changes on closing.
This means if the preset has not changed, it will only warn about closing and will not prompt to save.
* vMix can no longer be closed while Recording, Stream or MultiCorder is running, regardless of if the padlock feature is in use.

The new Output input is by itself worth an update to v25 :) A very warm welcome and huge thanks to the vMix team! The limitation (no documentation yet in the Help, quess it will come) of one Output input can easily be overcome by adding Virtual inputs of the output Input. Of course that means a, for some of us annoying, "Virtual - " in a bunch of Input's. But I can live with that (or maybe future versions will be able to omit the "Virtual"). (Sidenote: asking for Change an Input to an Output would be too much, so I'll refrain from that and do it manually instead :D )

I'm not sure if only having a single Output Input will work for me but I'm sure it will make lots of peoples' setups a lot less 'hacky', and that should make them more reliable. For me, I bring in "vMix Video" twice for different purposes and use the delay under the input's advanced tab of one to create a safety delay (motorsport where bad crashes can't be shown on the stream). I can't do that with virtual inputs (and that delay is disabled on the output input anyway). It feels like a Video Delay input should work but I had problems in the past making it stay exactly X seconds delayed and in sync with an audio input delayed by X000ms. I'll have to do more experimenting. But, to save this post, one minor bug report - In a Video Delay input the list of categories to save a clip to includes 'Search'. It also includes the 16 new categories even if they are disabled (though adding a clip to a disabled category shows up in the category when it is enabled.)

This is nice and can be used example for final output color correction. However it would be nice if overlays would always be unaffected to the color correction effects applied to this "Output input". ..and there should be a prevention mechanism that would prevent output "Output input" directly back to output.

COMMENT: I noticed when using the change color feature in Title Editor that gradients can not be changed (more complex operation I'm guessing) only when a solid fill color is chosen. Changing colors when gradients are chosen would be pretty nice if possible.

vMix 25 Preview Update Released (25.0.0.22)
* Documentation up to date.
* Fix for Output input freezing when attempting to add more than one.
* Disabled non-functioning buttons on Output input such as Loop and Audio
* Video Delay save dropdown now only showing active categories.
* Fix for preset filename in save confirmation not displaying.
* Default codec for Video Delay and AVI now changed to vMix Video Codec instead of MJPG.
This is considered a release candidate, with the final public release due soon.

I experienced a yellow indicator on my live stream after I updated my vMix to 25.0.0.22. UPDATE 22.png (2kb) downloaded 3 time(s).

I have the problem that loading the preset takes a very long time (about 3-5 minutes) when one of the NDI PTZoptics camera is not turned on and therefore cannot be reached.
Addition:
If the cameras were not registered with the NDI Access Manager, then it goes fast.

Can text color also be controlled via a data source? Considering text color is also able to be manually changed in vMix title editor, it would be great to have the option to databind to control the color from a remote source like a spreadsheet.

Unfortunately not much we can do about this, vMix will be attempting to connect to the camera and eventually timeout. Make sure all sources are live before opening a preset. Or open the preset via the Open button then untick that particular input in the selection window.

Hi Martin, There is a change in PHOTOS Input that I noticed: vMix 24 Screenshot 2022-03-02 163552.png (188kb) downloaded 1 time(s).vMix 25 Screenshot 2022-03-02 163249.png (185kb) downloaded 0 time(s).Why did PHOTOS lose Transparency support? I think it is a good feature. Furthermore, I did see Black Border option, but can't figure out why we need black border on black background? Should we just keep the old behavior of PHOTOS? Please be kindly advise. Thanks in advance.
