Dear Forum,
I'll need to configure PCs running VMIX Pro with 1x Decklink Quad 2 (8x SDI I/O, used as 4xInput/4xOutput).
I realized RTX 3080 cards are very hard to get in europe, currently with delivery time of weeks or even months.
Will I experience any considerable limitations using a Quadro RTX 4000 instead? (These are used in HP workstations that would be available immediately)
Another question: I suppose VMIX will run on AMD Threadripper platforms as well as with i9 CPUs. Is there any recommendation nevertheless?

4 SDI IN and also 2 SDI OUT will work fine with a Quadro RTX 4000.
vMix supports only 2 SDI out.

Medialooks have some free apps that convert SDI to NDI and NDI to SDI which can help add the extra IO required to/from vMix.
As far as using AMD processors vMix's recommendation is to use 3000 series (zen 2) or greater.
