OBS recently introduced a new feature that enables to exclude specific tracks (e.g. music) from the VOD that Twitch will automatically save. As DMCA takedowns have become a thing, it would be useful if vMix would support this feature.

Any updates/solutions here? This is the ONLY thing preventing me from switching away from OBS. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I did find a work around - by using vMix's External output -> add input as source in OBS, then use whatever you need to bring in audio. Not sure how to get the vMix audio channel buses into OBS though...

Dante Via - costs money and usually requires an entirely separate PC just because it seems to have timing/sync issues otherwise, also requires it's own subnet/vlan tag so that it doesn't get lost/spam the network (further more their uninstaller messed up all my other sound devices completely forcing me to reinstall windows)

Virtual Audio Cable - these have never worked for me without crackling, stuttering, or drops in signal, never been able to solve it without adding +50-100ms of latency and seems like the folks that make it have no intention of resolving this

NDI - while a good solution, even on a hardwired home network with gigabit ethernet, there is still a good 30-50ms delay on any input/output, thus causing de-sync between audio and video - and that's without games or livestreaming

There's just no good way other than direct capture to keep things in sync - and it's not like I have a potato for hardware either

I do a live sports talk show everyday, would love to have music in the background LIVE but not in the vod. I know I could record the show sans audio but that's creating a ton of extra steps, not to mention it messes with the "views" count.
