I created a simple title using an image sequence and a text box. There are both on one layer.

The image sequence lasts 6 seconds and has 2 animations for the transitionin and transitionout (fade and imagesequence)

The text box has 1 animation for both: fade.

The preview of the transitions work fine in the title editor.

When I add the title as an input and click overlay 1 (Set to cut, 500ms) the animation shows the transitionIn just fine. However, when I click the overlay 1 button again the overlay does the hard cut and does not show the out.

Is this something I need to script or setup as a trigger? I'm not exactly sure how to accomplish this.

Thanks!

When the title animations are properly setup there is no need for script or triggers

Did you check by using Play or In/Out?

Would help if you posted a screenshot of the animation list in your title
