I need to send a simple mute and unmute command to a sound board on our LAN. Apparently a tcp/ip MIDI stream which includes the address, port, MIDI channel, and a few bytes of data will do the trick. Is there a way to do this from within vMix? VB.Net script or shortcut controlled command, perhaps?
Many thanks..

You might need some sort of bridge between midi and IP. In the early days I did something like this but the other way around. And not with vMix as target. But maybe you get the idea or useful hints by watching it.

I don't know if rtpMIDI and MIDI-OX still exist these days.

Hope that helps a little bit.
