Hi,

we recorded an event yesterday of about 3 hours. It was 1920x1080i50 and was recoded in ProRes LT in a mov container with Vmix 23.

Today I imported the recoding into Premiere CC and Premiere only sees the first two frames. So all the clips are only 2 frames long. The filesize indicates that the recording is OK and in the right lenght. But Premiere sees all the clips only as 2frame long.

I can play the clips back in VMIX without any problems.

What is going on here?

Thanks and cheers

Ok - figured it out:

If you record FFMPG with ProRes LT in a Quicktime file (non indexed), the files shows only the first 2 frames in Premiere CC2019. If you select "Quicktime indexed" in Vmix, it shows the correct lenght. So make sure to always select Quicktime (indexed).

Is there a simple way to convert a Quicktime recording to an indexed Quicktime file?

Thanks and cheers
