I just upgraded my old 4 channel sound mixer to a Mackie 16 Channel ProFx with USB.
I downloaded a lot of software from Avid, Including Pro ToolS First, Waveform 11, and a few others. I'm able to manually mix my audio channels on the board, and use audio cables to route outputs to different audio input devices. I was hoping that since there is a USB connection that there would be some sort of connectivity to my PC that would be of benefit to me in my productions. I can't really find anything though.
Am I missing something? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Paul

Install USB drivers, connect Mackie to your PC; Add new Audio Input Device in vMIX, select your hardware mixer; In vMIX's Audio mixer send sound from Mackie to M (master channel).
And you should have Main Stereo Mix from ProFX in your vMix production.

Thanks Andreypetr!
While the mixer is working for me with the ASIO driver, the latency is too much. When I change (lower) the buffer size in the Mackie Control Panel to reduce the latency, vMix automatically changes it back to 1024 samples when I add the audio input.
Is there a way to keep vMix from changing the ASIO buffer size to 1024 samples?
